Do you ever worry about how to go by each day? Or what destiny holds for you? it could be that you’ve been waiting for answers to prayers? Perhaps you are still trying to find yourself? Do you feel empty on the inside? Or that still think of lost and misplaced opportunities? Do you feel the grip of lost times digging deep into your soul? God has a word for you today “YOU HAVE ALL YOU NEED IN CHRIST JESUS” the formula goes like this *CHRIST(YOU+WORD)=EAT YOUR CAKE AND HAVE IT. Wouldn’t it be wonderful to eat your cake and still have it? it is written in Colossians 1:19 “for it pleased the father that in Him should all fullness dwell” This means that Christ is the multiplication factor in your life. He is more than enough, sufficient for all and doesn’t run short-Hallelujah!
You need to know and believe that God has blessed you with all you need to live a fulfilled life here on earth. This is a crucial step in receiving all that God has for you. For example; a heir to a great fortune but without the knowledge of such a privilege, is as good as No heir- you are what you know. That is why the scriptures says in Hosea 4:6 “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge”- You are what you know. But God isn’t limited by what you know.
The scriptures talk of Gods blessings for you in Ephesians 1:3 “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in the heavenly places in Christ” you might wonder what the heavenly places mean? Why not here on earth? When Jesus taught His disciples to pray in Mathew 6.9-13, He mentioned a crucial path that continues to be questionable amongst Christians today; He said, “Thy Kingdom Come” Again, the same heavenly realm is being mentioned as a crucial tool in prayer to asking and receiving from God. It means that the receiving all that God has for you can only be actualised in the realm of His Kingdom. A deeper insight to this mystery is given in the book of Luke 17:21 “neither shall they say, lo here or lo there, for behold the kingdom of God is within you!” isn’t this amazing that although we live here on earth, the kingdom of God has already come, and is alive in you. it is the power of God at work in you. 1 Corinthians 4:20 says “for the Kingdom of God is not in words but in power” it is by the power of God at work in you that you are able to triumph over storms.
So how do you receive all these precious promises that’s been given? It is by abiding in God and His word in you ((John 15:7 -if ye abide in Me and My words in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done for you).
I have two questions to ask you: 1; do you abide in God? Abiding in God seems to be the norm these days but shouldn’t be the totality of it all. Believing in Christ, going to church, volunteering, doing good things for the community, praying, fellowship with the brethren, is a way people show their commitment to God. The second question is: Does His word abide in you? this is what makes the difference. Why? Because the word of God is spirit and life(John 6:63) it releases the manifestation of the power of God in you. when the word abides in you, the Holy Spirit reveals the Truth of the word in you that sets you free. As it is written in John 8:32 “and ye shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free”
1 peter 1:3 says “According as His Divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the Knowledge of Him that hath called us to glory and virtue. In this verse, it is evident that the power of God is the factor that releases the promises of God to us, and the knowledge of God (when His word abides in you) is the factor to receiving it. when Gods word abides in you, faith breeds and flourishes in your heart. And faith brings about an increased level of grace. It is through grace by faith in the Lord that we become partakers of the divine nature of God by His spirit that dwells in us. That is why it is written in Zachariah 4:6 “it is not by might nor by power but by My Spirit says the Lord God of Host”. It is the spirit that gives the grace to leap over mountains and to walk with the lord in righteousness
So, stop looking around for a solution, instead look on the inside of you. you have resurrection power at work in you. Speak the word into your life, believe it and let the Kingdom of God be made manifest in your life. Ephesians 3-20 “now unto Him that is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us” You are victorious in Jesus Name, Amen.
