The words of Apostle Paul in 1 Corinthians 4:3-4 “but with me, it is a very small thing, that I should be judged of you, or of man’s judgement; yea, I do not judge mine own self, for I know nothing by myself; yet am I not hereby justified; but He that judgeth me is the Lord.”

Its not a surprise to be often caught up in situations where we play the judge over our own lives and that of others. Being a judge comes with great responsibilities, even the judges in the courts wouldn’t have the stamina to judge every single action of ours every day, and they also lack the authority to do that. Becoming the judge of our life and that of others, comes with a burden, ignited by the desire to see things done right and to see justice prevail. This burden comes also with the frustration of the “I could have’s, what if’s, it should have’s, why’s? may be if’s…” the more time we try to figure things out and scheme our imaginative desired plot of the scenario, the heavier the burden we carry becomes. Why? Because we lack the resources and authority to be the judge. We cant bring back time, we cant change destiny’s, we cant take away our pain or that of others, we have a limited capacity by which we can help others, we cant heal peoples hearts, we cant take away those memories, we cant see the thought of the hearts, we are not even a 100% sure most times of the thoughts of our own hearts, we don’t have the strength to carry all our problems and that of others, we simply lack the solution. But we know someone who can; His name is JESUS. For this reason, He said in Mathew 11:28 “come unto Me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” Our Lord Jesus the only One that has all it takes to be Judge, if only we can surrender our burdens to Him, we will find rest. It is written also in James 4:12 “there is only one law giver, who is able to save and destroy, who art though to judge one another?”

The time has come for you to stop blaming yourself for past mistakes of what you did or what others did to you. it is time to come out of the captivity of guilt and shame, knowing the truth that Christ nailed it all on the cross, so you might be FREE and live a fulfilled life in Him. It doesn’t matter what your mind says to you, know this “if our hearts condemn us, we know that God is greater than our hearts and knows all things- 1 john 3:20.” God knows you through and through, He is also very aware of everything that’s being going on in your life right from the second you were born. He knows your hearts and intentions more than you do, so whenever the enemy tries to take hold of your mind, speak to your thoughts and bring them in subjection to the will of Christ for you- 2 Corinth 10:5 “casting down imaginations and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every though to the obedience of Christ”, stand only on the truth of Gods word for you- that there is therefore no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, for the law of the spirit of live in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and death.

There may be situations where you might feel you didn’t get the justice you deserved. Start with going down on your knees, getting God involved in your situation is the place where justice starts. It is written in Romans 12:19 “Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place to wrath for it is written, Vengeance is mine, saith the Lord.” When you step aside, you give God room to step in and deal with the situation, He is more than capable of bringing justice to your life-  Jeremiah 32:27 “Behold I am the Lord, the God of all flesh, is there anything too hard for Me?” you know the answer that with God all things are possible. God is capable of making all things work together for your good, including people and natural elements. Always remember that the heart of kings are in the Lords hands and as the rivers of waters, he turneth it withsoever He will- Proverbs 21:1.

Even as Christians, we still make mistakes, we are trolled from our hidden faults, but thank God for the blood of Jesus that washeth away all sins. My dear sisters and brothers in Christ, now is the time to decide to move on from the prison of guilt and blame. For God isn’t here to condemn you but to show you the way to repentance, so that you by grace through faith in Jesus Christ may retain your salvation.

Dear Lord, in the name of Jesus, I pray for as many as have read this, that the yoke of guilt, bitterness, unforgiveness, shame, rejection and every heavy burden the enemy has placed on their lives by reason of things they did in the past, things they are presently going through or the wrong doings of others; Be broken in the name of Jesus. I declare freedom into the lives of your people this very moment. Let the breathe of the Holy Spirit fill their lives with peace, joy, love and gladness of heart; even as you lead them beside still waters all the days of their lives, Amen!
